Natural Gold Nuggets & Jewellery is a family owned and operated business that has been operating since July 2006. Ted & Lecky first started their business from a spare room in their home to now running a thriving and successful business in the main street of Hannans Kalgoorlie Western Australia.Ted & Lecky uprooted their family in 2006 by selling their home and resigning from work to move from Mandurah Western Australia to Kalgoorlie to become full time prospectors.
Being full time prospectors in Kalgoorlie they began to sell their gold nuggets plus gold nugget jewellery which they made and had on consignment at Finders Keeper, Boulders main street, Desert Art which was situated at the top end of Hannan Street Kalgoorlie, plus Angus & Coote also Hannan Street Kalgoorlie.
In 2008 the local Gold Buyers, shut their doors, which left all prospectors in Kalgoorlie and surrounding districts without a gold buyer the first time in over 30plus years. No gold buyer in the goldfields for prospectors is detrimental as they need instant cash so they can restock supplies and fuel to get back out to the bush to earn a living. This is where Ted & Lecky come into the picture, as they supplied local business's with their nuggets and nugget jewellery the prospectors started to call them to see if they were able to buy any nuggets off them so they could get back outbush. Which they started to do. These deals were done either at the prospectors homes or the local pub - Palace. However once word started to spread, this became too big and too dangerous for them so Ted & Lecky had to make a choice, either stop buying the gold or open up their own shop. So in April 2007 Natural Gold Nuggets & Jewellery opened their doors to the public at 150 Hannan Street Kalgoolrie.
Their business has been rapidly increasing every year since they opened their doors and support from the local prospectors and local business's has been amazing. With a great reputation and with word of mouth they now buy gold off propectors from around the world.
